With the elections now over, there is one outcome that may affect the Marcus Bebb-Jones murder trial. That trial had been postponed to April of 2013, however, the man in charge of prosecuting, 9th Judicial District Attorney Martin Beeson, may not be able to pursue the case since he may have lost the election to get re-appointed by challenger Sherry Caloia. As of yesterday he was 124 votes short of his re-election. Bebb-Jones is accused of murdering his wife then left the country. Just last year he was extradicted back to the U.S. to face trial. And its been one delay after another.
