Tree Lighting, Processional and Santa’s Cabin – Friday November 23 at 5pm. Festive tree lighting in front of the historic courthouse including refreshments and entertainment. Carolers and Santa will lead a candlelit procession down Main Street to Santa’s Cabin in Centennial Plaza. Shopping and activities afterwards.
Small Business Saturday – Saturday November 24, all day. A nationwide program to highlight the power of small businesses to invigorate a local economy.
Parade of Lights – A Wild West Christmas – Saturday December 1 at 5:30pm. A true hometown holiday experience. The Parade of Lights brings the community together in historic Montrose downtown for a festive parade and celebration. Show up early for the best seats.
Merriment on Main – Friday December 14 from 2-6 and 5:30 to 8:30. From 2-6pm Holiday hayrides, kids scavenger hunt with prizes, shopping specials, entertainment, cocoa and other beverages, holiday window decoration contest, lights, Elf costume contest and more. From 5:30 to 8:30, a special holiday night on the town. Much of the same activities from as earlier in the day along with wine tasting, artist demonstrations and lights.
