Former Bank of Colorado Employee Accused of Embezzlement

A former  vice president at a local bank in the Grand Valley has been accused of embezzling $650 thousand  in cash over a period of several years.  Anna Louise Jones from Loma was an employee of Bank of Colorado at the 200 Grand Ave branch when she committed this crime.  She was arrested last week and charged with suspicion of theft of more than $20 thousand, as well as money laundering and filing a false tax return.  The arrest culminated after the police had done a lengthy investigation over a period of several months into her operation.
