Montrose ended their football season with a 35-14 loss Friday night to Mesa Ridge.  In 3A action Saturday, Delta defeated the Classical Academy 21-0 and will now host Pueblo East, a 49-28 winner over Holy Family.  In 1A, Cedaredge and Hotchkiss both won quarater-final games.  Cedaredge shutout Monte Vista 18-0 while Hotchkiss rallied to blow out Limon 47-26.  Cedaredge will play at Hotchkiss this weekend in a rematch of a regular season game that Cedaredge won 21-20 at the end of September.  We are still waiting for the dates and times of these State Football semi-final games.   We’ll broadcast our area games whenever they are played.  Stay tuned for those announcement.

The Western State Colorado University wrestling team had a good showing at the Colorado Mesa Open Saturday.  Three wrestlers were crowned champions including Freshman Zach Shank of Olathe.

The Denver Bronco’s won at Carolina yesterday 36-14 and are now 6-3.  San Diego is at Denver this Sunday afternoon at 2:25.
