Tomorrow night, Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers of Mesa County are offering a free class for parents and teens, on the subject of internet safety. This monthly series of free classes have been offered since August 2012 and continues to be successful.
Community Outreach Deputy Chad Williams of the Sheriff’s Office is teaching the November class “Internet Safety for kids: A parent’s guide.” This class is free and open to parents with children of all ages, but most applicable to teens and pre-teens. This class is designed to give parents tools and resources for teaching their own kids internet safety practices and cyber security.
The class will be held at Grand Junction High School auditorium on Tuesday, November 27th at 7:30 p.m. Please RSVP through www.mesacountysafekids.com, and to get additional information on this topic.
