The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help in locating the individual responsible for shooting a horse.  Sometime between Thursday December 27th, and Friday December 28th, 2012 an unknown person shot and killed a tan Quarter horse stallion at 5910 Elk Ranch Road, in Glade Park. It appeared the horse was shot from a small caliber firearm at a close distance. The horse was valued at $8,000.00.
