The Montrose Indians went 2-3 at the SWL Dual Championships yesterday as 4 regulars sat out. Montrose beat Durango and Montezuma-Cortez, but lost to champion Central, Fruita and GJ to finish in 5th place. An injured shoulder has ended the season for Ian Sandoval at 145. Joe Sandoval at 152 is hopeful for next weekends Regional meet in Montrose, which will be broadcast on AM 580 KUBC starting at 12 noon Friday. KKXK 94 KIX will also broadcast Regional wrestling next Friday starting at 3:30pm. The top 4 in each weight class at Regionals move onto State the following week in Denver. Team results and All League wrestlers are listed below.
