The 46 year old Alcorn will earn a salary of $103-thousand dollars as he takes over for 10 year veteran Russ Duree.  Alcorn lives in Edmond Oklahoma, where he has been working as a judge in Oklahoma County since 2004.  Alcorn is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as a tank commander in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged from the Army Reserve in 2004. Alcorn was chosen from a pool of five candidates. A link to Alcorn’s page as Oklahoma County Judges is below.  My thanks to William Woody for this story.
