Local youth baseball and softball enthusiasts have teamed up to revitalize Montrose athletic opportunities under a new partnership between the City of Montrose, Montrose Indians Baseball, and the Montrose Recreation District. The new program, to be officially known as the Montrose Youth Baseball and Softball Program, replaces the former Montrose Little League.
This new partnership creates exciting opportunities to expand beyond past programs and promises more competitive play, a higher level of participation among a wider range of ages, and a means of developing stronger high school programs. Additionally, season schedules have been adjusted to accommodate soccer players who can now choose to participate in both sports.
