Officials are crediting a cooler Spring for good news regarding the Colorado river at this year’s state of the river meeting that took place at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction last night.  Experts from across the state came together to educate people on how the water would be impacted by weather and the current water conditions, as well as how it will effect their water usage.   They also discussed the Gunnison River and how even with Spring storms, the reservoirs are still in jeopardy of being low.  The water experts also reminded Colorado Residents that the state is still in a drought and water conservation should always be a common practice.
