Scott Shine has resigned as Executive Director of the Montrose Downtown Development Authority Board effective July 25th. Shine says he wanted to give plenty of notice so the DDA Board can embark on a national recruiting effort to hire his replacement.
Shine became the downtown revitalization group’s Executive Director in 2011, less than a year after the DDA was formed. He says he’s proud of the Board and what the DDA team has accomplished during his 2-year tenure.
The Montrose Downtown Development Authority partners with business owners, property owners, and community organizations on creating and maintaining positive momentum downtown while focusing on economic revitalization.
