The Montrose Downtown Development Authority Board has appointed Robert “Bob” Brown as interim Director. DDA Board Chairperson Ralph Walchle says the appointment was made to ensure the positive momentum that the agency has contributed to in downtown economic vitality continues unimpeded.
Brown’s contract will solidify his employment as interim Director on a month to month basis. Walchle adds that the DDA Board has also appointed two of its own members to head-up a recruitment subcommittee. The subcommittee will review the existing job description for Director and update the duties and description with the full Board during their August meeting.
