Grand Junction based National Weather Service Meteorologist Travis Booth says only a trace of rain fell in Montrose in June, a whopping 2.08-inches of precipitation graced the region in July, and 0.75 of an inch has dropped from the sky so far in August.  Monsoonal moisture continues to be a possibility along the Western Slope today before backing off for awhile and returning early next week.
