(Grand Junction, CO)
The Grand Junction City Council may soon be the latest Western Slope local governing body to vote in favor of banning the retail sales of marijuana in city limits. Communications Director Sam Rainguet says there will be a Public Hearing inside Council Chambers at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th. The proposal would prohibit the retail sale, production, cultivation and manufacturing of marijuana.
If the prohibition measure is enacted the largest city on the Western Slope will join virtually every other city on the Western Slope in banning marijuana sales and the sale of associated products.
