A man who spent 17 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit will be getting nearly one-point-two-million dollars in compensation.  Robert Dewey was wrongly convicted in 1996 of murdering Jacie Taylor.  His conviction was overturned in 2012 with new DNA testing.  A Mesa County judge ruled that Colorado will pay him at the rate of 100-thousand dollars a year, minus taxes.
