Air Quality to be Measured

Beginning Wednesday The University of Colorado Boulder (CU-Boulder) and the Western Slope Conservation Center have been awarded a grant to work with high school teachers in North Fork Valley to evaluate air quality. Situated near recent oil and gas development in an area with sparse air quality monitoring, Paonia High School has been selected to participate in this project. Specifically, Paonia High School science teacher Ben Graves is developing air quality monitoring curricula associated with low-cost monitoring stations designed by the team.


The monitors will be measure air quality for several months.
