The vandals carved “AFS,” “SDT” and “Happy New Year’s 2014” into the rock panel. A BLM archeologist says the rock art panel is between 2,000 and 4,000-years-old, and is considered sacred by Native American tribes. The estimated restoration cost is at least $4,000. If you have any information contact BLM Law Enforcement 240-5341. A cash reward is being offered.
