|Theft at Days Inn Montrose|

Montrose Crime Stoppers and Montrose Police want your help to find the suspects in a theft at the Days Inn in Montrose. In the early hours of December 23rd, two people entered the Hotel and stole money from the cash register. Both suspects appeared to have socks covering their hands and neither were wearing shoes.

Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers and the Bureau of Land Management are seeking the help of citizens to locate and apprehend one or more individuals responsible for vandalism to federal property in the Lunch Loops Trail System near Grand Junction.
On November 2, work crews completed authorized trail improvements to the Gunny Loop trail east of Little Park Rd. Approximately two hours after completion, citizens reported destruction of the improvements.
Federal law enforcement officers are investigating the crime and are offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest of the person(s) responsible. That reward will be paid anonymously through the Crime Stoppers system if that is the means used to report the identity of the vandals.

A Gunnison Police car was vandalized last week. At around 10:30 Monday night somebody damaged the windshield on a City of Police car. Police say the car was unattended at the time.

On March 9th just before 6:00 PM Delta Police responded to the 200 block of E. 5th Street on a report of a possible assault. Investigation found 69 year old Richard Gomez of Delta was the victim of the assault. No suspects have been identified. Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers and Montrose Police need your help to catch a sex offender. Last month Police investigated several incidents of a male seen masturbating in public while exposing himself to unsuspecting females. These random incidents have occurred at various times and locations within the city. The accused is a white male between 28 to 35 with short brown hair. He has been seen wearing a brown jacket that might be leather or Camo. More

Gunnison Crime Stoppers is asking for your help with solving a theft that occurred at Wal Mart, in Gunnison, On October 11th. |Montrose Crime Stoppers is asking for your help solving an Arson Case. Somebody purposely set fire to a home on 2650 Maya Way at around 2am March 15th. The outside of the home sustained approximately $5,000 in damage. |

The Montrose County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a burglary that occurred Sunday night 1/11/15 at 6:50 p.m., at Diamond G Repair (65790 Racine Road #3). An unknown suspect broke into the property and stole $500 to $800 cash from the business. Officials are looking for a light colored sedan with chrome rims (make and model unknown).
