Farm Bureau Helping Wildfire Victims

The Colorado Farm Bureau is heading an effort to raise money for farmers affected by a massive wildfire. The fire has burned over 30-thousand-acres in Logan and Phillips counties and left farmers without supplies, equipment and fields. Money raised by the Farm Bureau will go directly to the farmers affected for supplies like cattle feed and hay.

Core Logic: High Wildfire Risk

According to new data released today by CoreLogic, nearly 900,000 single-family homes across 13 states in the western U.S. are currently designated at High or Very High risk for wildfire damage, representing a combined total reconstruction value estimated at more than $237 billion.Of the total homes identified, just over 192,000 alone, with total reconstruction cost valued at more than $49.6 billion.
