The Class 4A state football playoffs get started this weekend. Number 10-seed Mesa Ridge will play at number 7-seed Montrose Friday night at 7. KUBC will broadcast that game. Last week the town of Cedaredge appointed a new trustee to their board. Out of the three candidates who applied for the position, Dr. Lawrence Smith was the chosen one.
