Grand Mesa At Risk For Sustained Avalanches

Yesterday the Colorado Avalanche Information Center announced that parts of the Grand Mesa could sustain considerable avalanches. The Center explains that a winter storm could add 1 to 2 feet of snow that would weaken the snowpack and increase the risk of man-made and natural avalanches.
