Santa Splash At Montrose Rec Dec 15

A Santa Splash will be held on Saturday December 15th from 1 to 5 at the Montrose Recreation District.  Santa arrives around 1 o’clock.  Admission is only $2.75 with a canned food item for the Sharing Ministries Food Bank.  Call to make reservations if your child is younger than 7.  Call 249-7705 for more information.

Montrose Indoor Pool Closed Temporarily

The main indoor pool at the Montrose Aquatic Center had to be shut down yesterday because of mechanical issues.  The main pool pump for the indoor pool broke so the pool water could not circulate or be filtered.  The pool has to be closed to ensure safety.  The rest of the Aquatic facility is open. Montrose and City Rec Approve IGA For Shared Services

The Montrose Recreation District (MRD) Board of Directors has unanimously approved an Inter-Governmental Agreement (IGA) for shared services that will result in a sizeable savings of taxpayer dollars.  Under the agreement, the City ofMontrosewill provide maintenance of outdoor field, turf, and ancillary facilities, as well as finance, information/technology and legal services, in exchange for reimbursement. Sharing Ministries Feeds Our Community

The Montrose Recreation District and Sharing Ministries are teaming up to help feed our community. The Aquatics Center is a drop off stations for non-perishable food items for the Sharing Ministries Food Bank. During November, admission to the Aquatics Center on Saturdays and Sundays is only $2.75 with a donation to Sharing Ministries.
