Theft, Fraud Charges Against Kristen Chesnik Of Paonia

Charges have been officially filed against Kristen Chesnik, former finance officer of Paonia.  Chesnik now faces one count of theft over $20 thousand, a Class 3 felony.  An annual review of the town’s finances found that Chesnik had defrauded Paonia over $625 thousand in a two year period.  The CPA firm Blair and Associates found [...]
