Firefighters continue to make progress  battling the Pine Ridge fire near DeBeque.  Their main focus of attention right now is to keep the fire west of the interstate and out of developed areas.  I-70 is currently open but intermittent closures are a possibility as emergency vehicles  and smoke will continue to have a strong presence.  [...]
